Getting Involved
Allyship in Resource Groups
Most resource groups don't just welcome allies, they also depend on them. A group made up only of people who share the same identity or experience can build deep community, but it has limited reach. Allies are how that community connects to the broader organization. But allyship done poorly does more harm than good. Showing up without self-awareness, speaking more than you listen, or treating the experience as a credential all undermine the th...
Becoming a Resource Group Volunteer
Resource groups run on volunteer effort. The events get planned, the communications go out, the new members get welcomed, and the programming comes together because people decided to contribute time they didn't have to spare. If you've been participating as a member and wondering whether to get more involved, this is what that actually looks like. What Volunteers Actually Do Volunteering in a resource group isn't one thing. Depending on the gro...
Making the Most of Your Membership
Joining is the easy part. What you get out of a resource group depends almost entirely on what you put into it, but that doesn't mean you need to overcommit. The members who benefit most are the ones who show up consistently, pay attention, and take small opportunities seriously. Here's how to make your membership actually mean something. Show Up Before You're Ready Most people wait until they feel prepared, until they know enough people, un...
Why Join a Resource Group?

That's a more honest answer than the official one. Resource groups can offer mentoring, professional development, networking, leadership experience, all of that is real. But the reason most people stay is simpler: it's one of the few spaces at work that exists specific...

Add Your Belong365 Calendar to Microsoft Teams

Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to your Teams Channel.

1.Click on + sign

2. Click on “Website”

3.On next window, update tab name as desired. In URL field, paste your calendar link

4. Your Belong 365 HUB should display in your Microsoft Team Channel Tab.

Previously, you could add a website as a tab in a Microsoft Teams channel using the “Website” tab, allowing the site to load directly within Teams. However, as of July 2024, Microsoft has changed this behaviour for security and privacy reasons. Now, when you add a website using the “Website” tab, it will open in a new browser tab instead of within the Teams interface
