Breast Cancer: What’s Useful to Know
Breast Cancer Awareness Month brings a lot of familiar messages every October. But awareness is more useful when it helps you understand the details that are easy to miss. Breast cancer can affect people differently, and there is no single sign, family history or risk profile that tells the whole story. Here are a few things worth knowing. No family history doesn’t mean no risk Family history matters, but it is only one part of breast canc...
Managing Headaches at Work
Headaches at work are common enough that most people treat them as background noise. You take a painkiller, get on with your day, and don’t think much about it. But if headaches are a regular feature of your workday, they’re worth understanding rather than just managing after the fact. Most work-related headaches fall into a few identifiable types, and most have practical interventions that address the cause rather than just the symptom. ...
Reading Your Body's Early Warning Signs
Prevention works best when you catch things early. The challenge is that most people aren't taught what to pay attention to, so they either ignore symptoms until they become hard to ignore, or they catastrophize every small sensation. The goal here isn't to make you hypervigilant about your health, but to give you a clearer sense of what's worth noting, what's worth monitoring, and what's worth acting on. Fatigue: When Tired Becomes a Signal ...
Heart Health at Work
Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death worldwide. Risk reflects several factors, including age, family history, smoking, physical activity, diet, blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes. Working conditions can influence some of these factors. Long periods of sitting, sustained stress, and limited opportunities for breaks can make healthy habits harder to maintain. Practical changes during the workday can support heart health alon...
Ergonomic Basics Most People Ignore
Neck pain. Lower back ache. Wrist tension. Headaches by mid-afternoon. These are so common in office workers that they're often treated as inevitable. They're not. Most musculoskeletal strain from desk work is preventable, and the fixes are less complicated than people think. The problem is usually that the small adjustments nobody shows you tend to accumulate into real problems over months and years. Chair Height: The Foundation The most comm...
Movement Snacks During the Workday
Most people know that sitting all day isn't great for them. What's less well understood is that even regular gym-goers are at risk from prolonged sitting if they're sedentary for most of the remaining hours. Exercise doesn't fully cancel out extended sedentary time. The good news: you don't need to redesign your schedule to fix this. Small, frequent movement breaks, sometimes called movement snacks, are enough to interrupt the physiological ef...

1.Click on + sign

2. Click on “Website”

3.On next window, update tab name as desired. In URL field, paste your calendar link

Previously, you could add a website as a tab in a Microsoft Teams channel using the “Website” tab, allowing the site to load directly within Teams. However, as of July 2024, Microsoft has changed this behaviour for security and privacy reasons. Now, when you add a website using the “Website” tab, it will open in a new browser tab instead of within the Teams interface
