Wishing you a joyful Ganesh Chaturthi
Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is a Hindu festival celebrated in honor of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity of wisdom and prosperity. It is observed with great enthusiasm and devotion in many parts of India and by Hindus around the world. The festival usually takes place in the months of August or September and lasts for 10 days.
During this time, clay idols of Lord Ganesha are worshipped in homes and public pandals (temporary structures). Elaborate rituals, prayers, and cultural performances are held to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha. On the final day, the idols are immersed in water, symbolizing the farewell to Lord Ganesha as he returns to his heavenly abode.
