The LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Day aims to help end domestic, family and intimate partner violence and abuse (DFV) within LGBTQ communities, by increasing visibility through the annual awareness day campaign. Workplaces, educational institutions and the community are encouraged to start a conversation and learn more about what they can do to ensure LGBTQ communities are supported if they experience domestic or family violence.
