Wishing you peace and blessings on this day

The Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha commemorates the death of Abdu’l-Baha, the son of Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, and his appointed successor. This event took place in 1921, in Haifa, in what is now called Israel. Abdu’l-Baha played a crucial role in spreading his father’s teachings and ensuring the unity of the Bahá’í community after Baha’u’llah’s death.

His passing is marked annually at 1:00 AM, the time of his death, by prayers and readings from Bahá’í writings in local Bahá’í communities worldwide. The day is one of nine holy days in the Bahá’í calendar when work is suspended. The Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha is a time for reflection on his life and teachings, which emphasized unity, peace, and service to humanity, and it holds significant spiritual importance for Bahá’ís around the world.
