The Festival of Ayyám-i-Há, also known as the Intercalary Days, is a joyous period celebrated by members of the Bahá’í Faith. It takes place over four or five days, depending on the timing of the Bahá’í calendar. Ayyám-i-Há is a time of unity, generosity, and service to others. It is characterized by acts of kindness, gift-giving, and community gatherings.
During this period, Bahá’ís engage in acts of charity, visit friends and family, and participate in various social and cultural activities. The festival serves as a preparation for the upcoming Bahá’í month of fasting, Naw-Rúz, which marks the beginning of the Bahá’í calendar year.
