Happy Santa Lucia
Santa Lucia, also known as Saint Lucy, is primarily celebrated by Christians, particularly in Scandinavian countries and Italy. It honors Saint Lucy, a Christian martyr who is associated with light and vision. The celebration of Santa Lucia is marked by processions, where a young girl dressed in a white robe and a crown of candles represents Saint Lucy. It is a symbol of bringing light in the darkness of winter and is often accompanied by singing traditional songs.
